The first week as Texan

I became a Texas resident on December 30, 2007.

I flew from Fort Lauderdale on that morning, thanks to Jeannette and Eddy who were very nice to take to the airport.

I arrived to Dallas at 12:45 that morning. My first taxi cost me US $25.00 because it was the minimum rate.

I pickup my car from the Marriott which had the courtesy to let me park the car, which it saved me around US $140.00. (Cheap guy)

I went to the apartment and I surprised them because they thought that I was not coming ???

I walked to an empty apartment and setup my bed (What a great idea, I brought my inflatable bed from home (Fernando is going to missed on Thanksgiving)
